         Pass-a-Grille, Florida

Pass-a-Grille postcard post card - Boca Ciega Bay, Pass-a-Grille, FL
Pass-a-Grille is in south Pinellas County on the southern tip of St Pete Beach.  The community name derives from the habit of fishermen, who would stop here to grill their meals.  Pass-A-Grille brings out the adventurer in you. With 7 miles of powdery white beach locals & visitors alike enjoy beachcombing, boating and visiting quaint shops. No matter where you go and what you do the water calls you from just blocks away.  Pass-A-Grille sunsets are nearly perfect and offer plenty of beautiful photo memories.

The Pass–A-Grille Woman’s Club is an organization of women committed to service to the local communities, including the Gulf Beaches, St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.   Founded in 1922, it is the oldest social organizations around. The women of the PAGWC believe that a strong community is built on local activism and citizen involvement in civic activities.  They organize events and provide services that help to foster neighborly relationships and keep their "slice of paradise" clean, safe and pleasant.    http://www.pagwc.com

Known as Florida's "Pink Palace," the Don Cesar Beach Resort facing the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, was built in 1928 to resemble a Mediterranean-style castle.   The Don Cesar is a beautiful, historic hotel right on St. Pete Beach. The hotel is isolated from other area hotels so the beach is fairly private and quiet.

St Petersburg Yacht Club one of the oldest yacht clubs in the United States has a clubhouse & marina located on Pass-A-Grille Channel
